While writing this Dana and I are back in beautiful Butte having slept in our own bed one night. I must have been tired because I slept 10 hours which is unusual for me. I feel refreshed!
What a great time it was with Annette Thiesen once again in Honduras. For those of you who don’t know Annette, her and her husband Ron are our old friends who previously ministered for many years in Iquitos Peru, establishing over 60 churches on the tributary rivers of the Amazon. While there Annette started having Daughters of Destiny Conferences to minister to the women of Peru to raise them up to their full potential in Christ. The Theisens are now in Honduras where they run an orphanage and school for fifty beautiful precious kids! Annette still does Daughters of Destiny Conferences in Peru, Argentina, and Honduras as she is led. Annette and I are talking about expanding them into India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and wherever else in Asia the Lord may desire. It is so important that women who have been oppressed rise up healed in these last days so the Body of Christ may enjoy the gifts and callings that these women have.
This year Daughters of Destiny Conferences with the theme of Open Doors, was held in three locations. After arriving on Monday, we had a wonderful 2 hour prayer time, the first of many for the conferences. I love praying with those ladies cause they know how to pray fervently! This is my 3rd time with a DoD Conference, and I experienced once again the miracle of unity when God takes a group of ladies who are strangers and makes such an awesome love filled team to minister and flow in the Spirit together! On Wednesday and Thursday we were in 2 different villages which invited all the local churches to come, men included, for a day of powerful ministry. They are such precious people whom God touched with healing on the outside and on the inside. We experienced OPEN DOORS from heaven as the messages were on how to walk through in these days into the fullness of the purposes of God for our lives. Then on Friday evening and Saturday we were in the city of Tegucigalpa at Christocentro Church. We had a tremendous time with the Lord demonstrating His Word with signs following. On Sunday morning, while the others preached in different churches, I preached at Christocento a message on the God’s passion for the lost. There were again signs following as more than a dozen people came to receive Jesus! This was exciting for the whole church to see, encouraging them to go reach the lost of their city! Praise GOD! Jesus SAVES!!!
